His passion for music began in Rhode Island, below the ground, in his parents basement where he produced house shows with his bands and hacked electronics. His passion was further cultivated at The University of Massachusetts of Lowell where he studied sound recording. While in school he broadened his audio repertoire by working as the audio engineer for Tsongas Arena and live sound engineer for 91.5 WUML.
These experiences led him to New York City after graduation where he has worked on staff at Avatar Studios, Mighty Toad Studios, Lofish, and Douglass Recording. Although New York is his home, he's worked internationally doing live sound at festivals and venues. Some of his favorites have been SXSW, Treefort Fest, MTYMX, Market Hotel, Death by Audio, and Iridium. Needless to say he's comfortable under pressure and at ease around big names (even when they're his idols); though he can't name everyone, he's especially stoked to have worked with GoldLink, Nels Cline, Christian McBride, Epic Beard Men, Ron Carter, and Breakbeat Lou.
Music isn't his job, it's his life. When he's not at the studio, he plays drums for Brooklyn based math rock band, Reindeer Castle, and carries keys/electronics duty for artists Samia XI, Dani Valdizan, and songwriters Carner & Gregor.
If you're unable to find Chris inside a studio or making music, he's probably in his Brooklyn backyard harvesting vegetables with his loveably chubby cat named Mercury.
